Services from Humane Resources Ltd

Humane Resources offers a range of professional services, some suited to individuals, and others to employers. They all enable clients to benefit from tailored, practical, incisive help in dealing with different aspects of bullying at work.

These services have predominantly been taken up by individuals, but the core ethic here is to act with objectivity on behalf of a party who has been or is being treated unfairly, which is why I will also work with employers intent on eradicating bullying or defending themselves against unwarranted tribunal claims. Of course, Humane Resources will only ever act in the interests of its client who makes first contact.

Charges are as reasonable as they can be at a double-dip recession busting £40 per hour, which represents a considerable saving over a typical solicitor's fee.

Visibly and Actually Impartial.

Magnifying glass on the word Not all independent investigators are impartial. It is possible to be "independent" and extremely biased at the same time. Where this happens it's impossible to hide and it's likely to make an already bad situation worse. The only real beneficiary is the investigator.

To reduce the risk of an employment tribunal claim and ideally see working relationships return to normal, disputes need resolving without any bias and with minimal risk of perceived bias.

In a contentious situation in a workplace, one might normally seek help from a trade union, solicitor or Human (without an 'e') Resources consultant. I am none of these, so why would anyone want to engage me instead?

I can give you advice specific to your situation, over the phone, by e-mail or by post, on an ad hoc basis, without a contract. If you have questions or need guidance with any of the topics covered on this web site - grievances, appeals, disciplinarians, investigations, tribunals and appeals, you can call me and talk about it. Hopefully I'll be able to feedback with opinion, advice and direction. It all depends on what you tell me, your circumstances and what you need, and of course, whether your situation is one I can help you with. The first 30 minutes (and sometimes more) is free. Thereafter the normal charge rate applies.

Do you feel completely comfortable with the advice you're receiving? Is it too good (or bad) to be true?

If you have a gut feeling that following the advice you're getting is going to make your situation worse, get an alternative opinion from Humane Resources. There's no politics, no ulterior motive, no hidden agenda - just objectivity and experience. Ask for a no-strings assessment of your situation. If you subsequently decide to engage Humane Resources as your representative, the cost of the assessment will be taken off your next invoice.

Humane Resources can provide an independent and objective opinion of your circumstances, explaining options open to you and the risks and benefits of each. An Assessment is a written statement, based on information you provide, that contains honest and comprehensive information to help you decide what to do next. It will quantify, so far as is possible, the risks of taking a particular course of action, including participating in tribunal proceedings.
